Celery Juicing

So I’ve heard so many benefits from drinking celery juice on an empty stomach in the morning that I thought I would give it a whirl.

Day 1

Juiced 16oz of celery which is a whole stalk. An hour later I am feeling more alert and awake. My brain feels clear and not in it’s usual foggy state before I’ve had my coffee.

Day 2

Didn’t notice too much of a difference other than feeling more alert.

Day 3

Celery juice tastes a little sour today. Normally it tastes like celery but almost sweet. I actually enjoy the taste of it!

Definitely noticing increased energy throughout the day!

Day 4

I’m more regular than usual. TMI but for the sake of an honest review…

Day 5

Took my celery juice to go. I enjoyed drinking it in the car on the way to my destination.

I think I need to try it for a little longer to see the long term benefits. But I will definitely keep it up! My mom said my skin looked glowy.

I also lost a couple pounds this week granted I did follow a high protein, low carb, low sugar diet. But celery juice is good for weight loss.

Tips for Juicing

Don’t juice the leaves as it can make the taste bitter

Drink first thing in the morning on an empty stomach

Drink 16oz for maximum benefits (juice one stalk)

It actually primes your digestion for the rest of the day

It helps with inflammation

It boosts your immune system
